Exclusive Pakaya Restaurant serves high quality local and international cuisine served to high standards. The restaurant has a ratio of 4:1 staff to guests and high quality service is guaranteed at all times. The restaurant has a bar on both floors, all served a variety food drinks, local and international. The local Julbrew is available all the time, please ask staff for details.

The restaurant has two floors. The top floor has an open roof top terrace, highly recommended for breakfast and dinner. You are guaranteed an eye catching view of Sandele forest, sea and vegetation around Sandele.

Food is served at all times, you can also ask staff if you want to be served on the terrace of your lodge, where you will enjoy sunset over the sea and view of vegetation around Sandele. Should you require room service, please do not hesitate to ask any member of staff.

The Pakaya Restaurant and Roof Top Bar offers fantastic food in a beautiful location. Relax in the shade on our roof terrace and watch the fabulous birds of the Gambia fly by.

Our chefs produce five star cuisine from locally sourced organic food. Our menu changes daily and makes use of seasonally available produce. Fish comes from the fishing port in nearby Kartong and all the vegetables and herbs we use are grown within 4km of the restaurant.

Pakaya is renowned for its fabulous salads and freshly pressed juices. And our superbly moist, wonderfully tasty chocolate and beetroot cake is universally praised.
