The Sandele Bay development has two components:

The 10 luxury lodges generate the main income stream for Gamspirit Limited – the tourism development company that has built the Eco-Retreat.

Twenty guest rooms that are for the primary use of the Pathways Foundation – an independent charitable organisation that will run courses and programmes dedicated to the themes of holistic learning and sustainability.

Eco-Retreat visitors will enjoy a high level of luxury and cuisine and will have access to a wide range of local cultural, creative and environmentally based activities. The lodges are comfortable and a high ratio of staff to visitors will be maintained at all times.

Meals will be served mostly in the Pakaya Restaurant – a small restaurant reserved exclusively for Eco-lodge visitors. Half board service will be included in the room rate and a wide range of dishes will be served including many vegetarian options. Meals will also be served on request, at the beach side Snack Shack or in the visitor’s lodge.
